Ecology is an important factor for developers to consider. Landscape Science Consultancy Ltd can provide a baseline ecological risk assessment and advise on any potential constraints on site. All we require from the developer is a topographical map of the proposed development area. Then using desk-top study methods such as aerial photographs and internet data sites, we can identify areas of potential wildlife interest that would need to be investigated further.
Baseline risk assessments are an opportunity to obtain an ecological snapshot of a site and enable developers to plan project timescales and budgets more effectively.
